(Reposted from the HERO TIME website.)
This year marks the fifth anniversary of the release of “Lair of the Plague Doctor”, the very first HERO TIME game, and it marks the tenth anniversary of when I first came up with the concept. Yes, I’ve been working on this for a while. That, and I’m probably younger than what you are expecting.

To celebrate the HERO TIME franchise, I will be writing a lengthy post giving you the history of the game’s development. That’s right, you will soon see the whole story of how it got here, starting from the “Newton’s Apple” moment of inspiration and ending with the Core Book.
Speaking of which, after concerted effort for about a year now, the HERO TIME Core Book is almost ready for release! It will be available physically and digitally in…
March or April!
Yeah, I know that’s not a release date. However, the process can have unforeseen problems sometimes, and I don’t want to underestimate when it will be ready.
To celebrate this release, I will be writing a series of posts about the “Snake Eyes System” it’s built on so you can hit the ground running on launch day! In addition, I will slowly be releasing brand-new art made for the Core Book on the Stick People Studios Pinterest page.
Ready yourselves, and thank you all for your support over these last five years!
